By supporting skill and leadership building at community agencies, Centraide aims to increase the impact of these agencies on improving living conditions and reducing poverty.
The environment in which community agencies work is constantly changing and becoming more complex, which means they always need a multitude of new knowledge, skills and abilities. Centraide supports them so that they can better face current and emerging challenges.
As part of different skill-building initiatives, Centraide gives community agencies mechanisms to:

- Develop their ability to reflect
- Share their knowledge
- Increase their organizational capacity
- Design new intervention and collaboration approaches within their communities
